Visit to Naples- Trattoria La Nennella

Napoli is exciting, vibrant and a wonderful place to visit for a true Italian experience! The food is honest, simple and delicious. The main ingredient in the meals is seafood, and it's fresh; unlike anything I've ever had. The people of Napoli were warm, friendly, enthusiastic and extremely helpful.
The cars, taxis, buses, scooters all make any type of transportation interesting! we decided to walk to the museum and stopped at the alimenteri on the way back to get some sausage, meat and cheese for a snack. The guy behind the counter kept us entertained and offered us samples of salami, cheese and was absolutely adorable!
We had pizza margherita at La Starita on the first night. It was awesome, delicious and very quick! The second night we went to Trattoria da Nennella, asn authentic Napoli restaurant with all the liveliness and chaos of Naples. The food again was wonderful, but simple. I highly recommend it for an authentic experience in Napoli!
If your trip includes a stop in Rome do not miss to taste the typical cuisine of Rome… have dinner Da Lucia, try the Roman cooking in Trastevere !

The festival of Cagliari: history, religion and folklore of Sardinia

Sardinia isn’t only sea and natural beauty. Sardinia is history, religion, folklore, traditions.
One of the best periods to visit Sardinia is around the first of May. On this date, every year, the Sardinians celebrate Saint Efisio, the Christian martyr who always intercedes in difficult moments (such as the plague or 1652, the French invasion attempt in 1793 and the Second World War). For over three centuries the promise of the Sardinian people to Saint Efisio has never been broken.
On 1st May a spectacular, colorful procession starts with the ‘traccas’ (ox-drawn carts): they come from different parts of the island and are beautifully decorated.
Then, an impressive succession of wonderful costumed groups and the riding of the horsemen of the Campidano (on adorned horses) go before the Saint.
Since the very first procession, in the 17th century, the Miliziani (one of the symbols of the festival) have always protected the Saint and the pilgrims from robbers and even pirates (along the coast).
At 12.00 o’clock the Saint leaves a little church in the old town centre to pass through the central streets and in front of the City Council: here the main street is covered with flower petals and Saint Efisio is greeted by the sirens of the ships.
Lots of celebrations and events are organized in Cagliari from the end of April to the beginning of May. This time of the year is also ideal for walking, sunbathing and discovering the best attractions of the province of Cagliari, book a B&BSardinia, feel like home in the island of mistery!

If you to find a little piece of Sardinia in Rome have a dinner at the Eleonora d’Arborea restaurant…taste Sardinian seafood!

Sanremo a city rich in history and monuments

Sanremo is a city rich in history and monuments for which the year is full of tourists who come to visit its many beauties, which is why there are many offers for staying in a B&B Liguria. It's a long history that is tied to this city and many of the monuments you can visit to Sanremo.
A mix of history and art is definitely the beautiful Piazza dei Dolori. The intricate connection to the port of Santo Stefano is articulated addressed through San Sebastian, a stunning move to the porch that was formed almost naturally with age, for want of space behind the walls of the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Century.
Many of the architecture is strong on the big arched passageway, which hardly seems underpinning the monumental buildings. The city is rich in history, between a quarter and one can run into several famous monuments belonging to different historical periods and artistic, so there is no need to follow a path already set, but let go and follow in a few words, the art itself.
